No More DIRT!!!

YES!! We finally got this big dirt patch in our backyard filled in with concrete, now the kids don't have anymore dirt to play with and track into my house!! That makes me very happy because noramlly either the day of or after I've swept AND mopped my floors they're just filthy again due to the darn dirt. I know the kids don't have it to play in and throw at each other and put in each others hair, but do I really care?? NOPE!! Cuz' it's GONE, we had another one also, but we grew grass there. We don't know what the previous owners of the house were planning on doing with those spots but I figured that they stopped being motivated. I love going out back and seeing my patio extended instead of it being dirt. Boy, it sure doesn't take much for me to happy! :) The first pictures is what it looked like before the concrete was poured (we dug it down) The second photo is what the other patch looks like now that we grew the grass, before it was just dirt, and the others are what my new patio looks like!!!

Artsy Fartsy Notsy

I thought that I could be creative, and I guess I can be, I just can't execute the creativeness that well. I got a tote bag from my doctors office with info on pregnancy and the front of the bag has their office logo on it and I don't like to be a personal advertisement, so I thought I would print out some fabric transfers and iron them on right over it. Cute huh?? WRONG!! It so didn't work. In the pictures you can STILL see the logo and that has TWO transfers over it, I thought that I could put another transfer that was for darks over it and it would cover EVERYTHING but obviously that didn't work. And now I don't know how to fix it, or even if I can. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Insurance

I wish that I could say that I hate health insurance, but I can't, because if I did I'd be paying up the ying-yang to be having babies, the reason I'm saying this is because my hubby's job decided to drop the current insurance and go with a WHOLE new one. This wouldn't of been so bad except for the fact that I am currently pregnant and had a near panic attack when I first heard of this, now that I've had time to adjust and learn more about it, it's even better than the old one, it's going to cheaper for us. BUT now I have to switch doctors, which really sucks, I know I don't have to but it really will be cheaper. I'm definately grateful that this is happening early in my pregnancy, I've only had 1 appointment with my doctor, and my next will be the new one. I'm really nervous about meeting the new doctor my friend who had him loved him and I'm glad he was taking new patients and I hope I like him too. It's just I had just gotten used to the old doctor and now I'll have a new doctor to get used to looking "up my skirt". I keep telling myself that it'll be all ok, because hey I get a FREE massage after I have the baby!!! Yup it's the good life.

Rambling

I've noticed with my first blogs that I seem to ramble on and on, I can't seem to stay on topic, so I just wanted to apologize to anyone reading this and to please not think I'm crazy because I'm not. I just have a lot to say and, in my mind, not enough time to say it. So please bear with me on this because I know it will happen often.

New House

So our new house is AWESOME!! I love it its 1706 sq ft and its way different from our old place which was 900 sq ft. So we have a ton of room now, but now I do have a new problem with the new place, it's almost to big to clean, there are 3 bathrooms 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (one is carpeted and one has wood, pergo, floors) everytime I think about cleaning the house I get a little panic attack. It was so much easier to clean the old place, 1 bathroom 2 bedroom tiny living room. The way I tackle the place is one day one chore at a time, like if its time to clean the bathrooms (which sucks!! I mean come on there are 3!!) that's all I do for the major cleaning, I feel good about the cleaning and when Josh comes home from work and asks me what I did today, I can tell him I cleaned ALL the bathrooms, real good. He knows better than to reply with "that's all??" (yes he's done that in the past). The best part about my house, and what I'm sooooooooooooooooo grateful for is my dryer!! I know that sounds silly but in my old place I didn't have a vent for my dryer not that that mattered because I didn't have ROOM for one, so the whole time we lived there which was 2 1/2 years I had to hang dry ALL the clothes. It is not fun, and your jeans are crunchy when you put them on when they've finished drying after 2 days with the fan blowing on them. So yes I'm grateful for my dryer!!! The first day our dryer was hooked up in our new house I did load after load until pretty much everything had been washed and dryed, Josh thinks I'm crazy but he didn't have to the laundry. Now I have a brand new front loader washer and dryer and I will never again live in a house without one.

New Beginnings

Hello there everyone, I've decided to start a blog now because it seems like its a great idea to keep in touch and let everyone know what's going on with me and my family at my own pace, but I'm so new at this and I hope everyone will enjoy it.
First my little family is doing great! We just bought our first house in march and we are expecting a new addition to the family in January, so life has been going my way so far. Josh and I made a deal a while ago that I could have another baby but we had to purchase a house first, as soon as those papers were signed I waited no time nagging him about and BAM!! I can't wait till January comes. Ginger is getting so big she'll be 2 in august, and i can't believe that she has grown up so quickly. It still amazes me how much she learns everyday, my favorite is about a month ago she was eating lunch and Josh and I were talking and then laughing and all of sudden she just says " Your funny mom!!" where the heck did she learn that??? I love it, I feel good when she learns. Josh is a busy little worker bee always trying to get overtime at work and then doing so much at home. I'm a stay at home mom and I love it!! Most days, some days I get sick of my kid, and that's when I think can I handle two?? So far my pregnancy has been easy hardly any morning sickness, I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow, 30 more to go!!! WOHOO!! The rest of the family is doing good Erin might be moving to Colorado, Matt just got a great job, mom is doing awesome as an administrator at the retirement home and Austin ... well we'll see.
